Unit One
Daily and Seasonal Rhythms
Unit Description
This unit involves a range of activities to enable the student to have a direct experience of the daily and seasonal rhythms in nature.
Upon completion of this unit the student will be able to identify the effect of daily rhythms on transplanting seedlings and storage times of produce, review the most suitable daily rhythms for harvesting produce, and develop their understanding of how to use these daily energy flows when undertaking site activities.
Unit Two
Lunar and Planetary Rhythms
Unit Description
This unit requires identifying lunar and planetary rhythms and undertaking a range of activities to develop an understanding of how these rhythms influence nature.
Upon completion of this unit the student will have developed an understanding of lunar and planetary cycles, identified the effect of these rhythms on a range of practical outcomes and be able to use the biodynamic planting calendar to identify lunar and planetary rhythms.
